Pro Bowler Tyrann Mathieu Outfitted Local Boys & Girls Club with Fully-Stocked Backpacks to Kick Off the School Year

Tyrann Mathieu visited the Stafford Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, August 28th to deliver 250 backpacks filled with school supplies to local elementary, middle and high school students.  Before handing out backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies, Mathieu addressed the students on the importance of valuing education, attending school and working hard.

In addition to the Stafford Boys & Girls Club, Mathieu also donated backpacks to 250 students in his hometown of New Orleans at two local Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Louisiana. 

Mathieu founded the Tyrann Mathieu Foundation, the non-profit organization whose mission is to positively impact the lives of youth through encouragement, opportunities and technology necessary to achieve their dreams.
